ABOUT JIN

Jin Huang Powell is one of contemporary sculptor and painter. She studied in sculpture and fine arts at Sculpture Department of The Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China. In 1993, she moved to United States and attended Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture and later she completed her MFA with Memphis College of Art. Jin’s artworks were several times exhibiting in China, United States, New Zealand, included Young People Exhibition of Beijing (Beijing), Young Sculptors Exhibition of Tianjin (Tianjin), City Sculpture Design Exhibition (Beijing), The Exhibition of Expressionist Art of China (Beijing), 20th Century China (Beijing), Sculpture Exhibition of Young Sculptors of China (Hang Zhou), Craft America (New Cannon), Governor’s 2003 Inaugural Exhibit (Nashville), Jin Huang Powell’s Sculpture (Memphis) etc.
