Silent Screams strives to portray the strength, beauty, and endurance of humanity. My installation piece tells the true stories of the Japanese military "comfort station" survivors (women and girls forced into sexual slavery by imperial Japanese forces) in World War II. The goal of my work is to record the war victims’ sufferings and to increase the awareness of sexual violence against women.
